National Geographic en Espanol: Cabo Pulmo, la perla del Golfo de California

The May issue of National Geographic en EspaƱol features a story on the Mexican National Park Cabo Pulmo photographed by iLCP Associate Octavio Aburto. For 15 years, Cabo Pulmo has not had any fishing activity, and has become the only marine area that researchers are using to test hypotheses about the Gulf of California’s health. Together with Enric Sala, National Geographic Fellow, they narrate a story of their journeys through the Gulf of California, and how Cabo Pulmo has changed in the last decade and how this area is an extraordinary successful story that can be replicate in other coastal areas of Mexico and worldwide.
