Scientists in Mozambique have collected hundreds of thousands of trail camera images to document the recovery of wildlife in Gorongosa National Park, which was decimated by decades of civil war. The Howard Hughes Medical Institute’s Bridget Conneely will present WildCam Gorongosa — a website for the public to identify animals in these images – where citizen scientists turn images of African wildlife into scientific data.
